Earlier blooming and better adapted to shorter growing seasons, Early Jalapeño will set fruit under cooler conditions than other varieties. Produces thick-walled 2-3", dark green pungent peppers on stocky plants. Excellent fresh or pickled. Zesty and Spicy! Hottest when fully ripe (red) but can be eaten green.
